You Strike a women you strike a rock/Wathint’ Abafazi, Wathint’ Imbokotho

August 9th is South African Women’s Day. On this day 66 years ago, over 20,000 women from all races marched to the union buildings in Pretoria to hand over a petition that led to the start of significant changes towards emancipation of women.

Today we helped the Winelands Municipality celebrate women as part of the womens program in Klapmuts.  Our inspirational Wendy Ncapa delivered education and handed out period packs to over 200 ladies and menstruators.

The Lady Talk Matters SA team are incredible.  We employ ladies from the local townships to manufacture the product and deliver education.  They are changing lives of young women and girls around the world. They have so little, but want to give so much.  Today we celebrate them!
