Working with local South African municipalities to distribute period products and education to those most in need.
We are proud to be working with the Stellenbosch Municipality to ensure our products and education sessions are getting to the people most in need. It is a significant achievement to get the local government departments to change the mindset of distributing disposable products. Our re-usable products last for 3 years, meaning we provide a girl with 3 years worth of period protection, rather than just one month worth of disposable products. Our pads are manufactured with bamboo charcoal which means it can be washed in cold water and don’t need to be machine washed. It also contains anti-microbial particles reducing the risks of infection. In March, we donated over 2,000 period packs to girls who can’y otherwise afford them.
