Introducing our team of incredible ladies.  Wendy Ncapa: Education and Ambassador Co-Ordinator

Wendy Ncapa is a vivacious lady who was born and bred in Kayamandi, Stellenbosch.

She did her early education in Ikaya Primary School. She flourished and proceeded to high school where she matriculated in Makupula Secondary School in 2017.

Knowing the importance of education, she spread her wings and went to study Business Administration at Cape Peninsula University of Technology and graduated in 2021.

In April 2021 Wendy met Andrea Mason founder of Lady Talks Matters through a mutual friend. Andrea shared with her the vision of expanding and introducing Lady Talks Matters to the Kayamandi community and that was the beginning of fulfilling and inspiring journey. Wendy describes her relationship with Andrea as not only mentor and mentee relationship “She treats me like a little sister, and we are all like one family at LTM.”

Wendy is Passionate about empowerment. It is her desire to live in a society where the female reproductive is not a taboo, a society where girls are encouraged to speak out about the challenges they are facing. A society where girls and women teach and learn from each other. Most importantly Wendy adds “To make a difference on the young lives of women in our communities.”

Wendy’s role at Lady Talks Matters includes creating and updating curriculum on female reproductive health. She also facilitates workshops and sessions among other duties.

Wendy Ncapa is a strong believer in women empowerment and her actions are evident to her passions.

Her dream for Lady Talks Matters is to reach out to other communities and provinces where the organization will continue to have a meaningful impact. “There is a great need for an organization such as Lady Talks Matters especially in provinces such as the Eastern Cape where sanitary poverty is stricken.” Wendy believes.
